There is a setup step to complete before you start placing calls in LeadLoop.

While you are going to be using LeadLoop to place the call, you will need to have an actual phone with a number you can directly dial in order to complete the process.

This can be a desk phone or a cell phone, but it needs to be a device that has it’s own dedicated number so you aren’t ringing multiple phones at the same time.

To set your account up for calling you will need to go to your profile and make sure you enter the phone number for the device you will be using to place the calls.

Once this is set up you will be able to place calls in LeadLoop.

Hitting the call button in leadloop will first dial the number you entered in your profile, you will need to pick up that call and you will hear a pre-recorded message saying “if you wish to record press 1, if you do not wish to record press 2”.

Stay on the phone after you make your selection and you will hear another ringtone, this time it will be dialing out to the client and will act as a normal call from that point forward.

If you selected 1 to record, Leadloop will actually record the call and make that recording available in the system to listen to in that client’s record.

If you selected 2, only the log that a call was made will be added to the record.

In either case you are able to leave phone notes for the call.

If for some reason you make a call outside of LeadLoop and need to record that fact in the client's record, open up the call feature and select “manual”. This will allow you to leave notes for the call. When you are done, click create and this will log that a call has been made along with your notes.
