LeadLoop’s Asset Manager allows you to store all of the images, documents, and other media you might use with clients or attach to outbound emails.

Examples include pictures, proposals, scheduling forms, information sheets, checklists, coupons, invitations, and more.

Uploaded Assets are available to all Users.

The Asset Manager is accessed via Settings, under “General,” or more directly through your User icon from anywhere within LeadLoop.

Your Asset Manager accepts all of the most commonly used image and document formats, and files of almost any size, though the best files are typically as small as possible while remaining clear and crisp on-screen.

The best file types are typically:

  • Image: .jpg, .png, or .tiff
  • Document: .pdf

Best Practices

These tips will help your Asset Manager best serve your Pipeline and company:

  • Use keywords in file names. Descriptive file names will help you easily find the right assets as your library grows. If all Forms include “-form” as part of their filename and all Checklists include “-checklist,” a quick search will surface what you need.
  • Size-optimize images and documents. As many of your assets will be attached to outbound emails, they are best kept between about 200-500 KB, if possible.
  • Aim for Quality 1st and Size 2nd. Since all popular email service providers (ESPs) allow messages as large as 10-25 MB, your first focus can be on image or document quality, then on size. (ESPs may flag overly large emails as spam.)
  • Save Images at 72-96 DPI. Online images are typically sized at 72-96 DPI, with 1280 x 720 pixels being a standard and widely-used horizontal image size, and 1080 x 1080 pixels being a great square image size.
  • Export  Interactive PDFs, not Print PDFs. PDF is the best format for documents but PDF programs can export both “Interactive” and “Print” PDF files. You want the first option, “Interactive.” Print PDFs are excessively large and don’t include working hyperlinks, while Interactive PDFs are sized for online use and have working hyperlinks.
